The genus Waigara Zhang Webb (Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae) is reported for the first time from Korea based on a new species, Waigara planstyla sp. nov.. Morphological information including diagnosis of the genus, descriptions of genitalia and illustrations of the new species, and a key to the species of the genus and type specimens habitus and genital photograph with redescription are provided.
张氏威加拉属 Waigara Zhang Webb（蝉科：叶蝉亚科）首次报道来自韩国，基于一新种，张氏威加拉 planstyla 新种。提供了包括属的诊断、生殖器描述和新种插图以及属种的关键以及模式标本习性和生殖器照片的重新描述等形态信息。
