Abstract
According to this study: Compared with noninvasive ventilation, high-flow nasal oxygen used in the initial management of acute respiratory failure may improve several clinical outcomes.Compared with conventional oxygen therapy, high-flow nasal oxygen used in postextubation management may reduce reintubations and improve patient comfort.
