A mild, facile, and environmentally friendly electrochemical protocol for the C(sp)-H/O-H cross dehydrogenative coupling between various alcohols and tetrahydrofuran with H evolution is herein reported. This synthetic strategy does not require external oxidants nor catalysts. The broad functional group compatibility includes hydroxyl, halogens, olefins as well as an alkyne. Initial mechanistic investigations were conducted. The method provides a green and efficient hydroxyl group protection.
本文报道了一种温和、简便且环境友好的电化学方法,用于各种醇与四氢呋喃之间的C(sp)-H/O-H交叉脱氢偶联反应并伴有氢气生成。该合成策略既不需要外部氧化剂也不需要催化剂。其具有广泛的官能团兼容性,包括羟基、卤素、烯烃以及炔烃。进行了初步的机理研究。该方法提供了一种绿色高效的羟基保护方法。
