OBJECTIVE
To identify the adult mosquito species of Kura-Aras Basin, which includes Kars-Ardahan Plateau and Aras Valley, mosquito sampling was done in August and September 2020.
METHODS
Adult mosquitoes were collected using new Jersey light traps and mouth aspirators.
RESULTS
A total of 5.361 adult mosquito species belonging to five genera () were sampled.
CONCLUSION
Species detected in the study area are important vectors for public health, since they carry pathogens, such as malaria, West Nile virus, and various nematodes. These species can be used for arbovirus and malaria research studies.
目的
鉴定位于卡尔斯-阿尔达汉高原和阿拉斯河谷的库拉-阿拉斯盆地的成年蚊种。2020 年 8 月和 9 月，我们对该地区进行了蚊虫采样。
方法
使用新型泽西捕蚊器和口腔吸引器收集成年蚊子。
结果
共采集到属于五个属的 5361 种成年蚊子。
结论
