Abstract

Two undescribed 4'--methylkaempferol-[3″,4″-di--coumaroyl]-α-l-rhamnopyranosides, caerulines A and B (), along with three known 4'--methylkaempferol diacylrhamnosides isomers () were isolated from an ethanol extract of the leaves of , a native plant growing on the Colombian Caribbean coast. The chemical structures of and were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The effect of compounds against four pathogenic microorganisms [i.e., methicillin-resistant (MRSA), , and ] was tested . The compounds exhibited no activity against these pathogens except MRSA (MIC 12-48 μg/mL). Caeruline B () was found to be the most active compound with a modest anti-MRSA activity (MIC = 12 μg/mL).

从生长在哥伦比亚加勒比海岸的本土植物的叶子乙醇提取物中分离出两种未描述的4'-甲基山奈酚-[3″,4″-二-香豆酰基]-α-L-鼠李吡喃糖苷,即铜绿素A和B(),以及三种已知的4'-甲基山奈酚二酰基鼠李糖苷异构体()。通过光谱方法阐明了和的化学结构。测试了化合物对四种致病微生物[即耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌(MRSA)、、和]的作用。除MRSA(MIC为12 - 48μg/mL)外,这些化合物对这些病原体均无活性。发现铜绿素B()是活性最强的化合物,具有适度的抗MRSA活性(MIC = 12μg/mL)。
