Abstract

Following the publication of the above article, the authors have realized that they inadvertently included incorrect data panels in Fig. 7 on p. 323; specifically, while preparing the figure, the panels denoting the 'CD31 DEXs‑miRNA‑194‑3p inhibitor' and 'VEGF‑DEXs‑blank' panels were imported incorrectly in Fig. 7C. The revised version of Fig. 7, containing the correct data for the abovementioned panels, is shown below. Note that the errors made during the assembly of this figure did not affect the overall conclusions reported in the paper. All the authors agree with the publication of this corrigendum, and are grateful to the Editor of for allowing them the opportunity to publish this.
