The art of cognitive self-regulation.

We like to think our minds were created to serve as truth-finding instruments, but it is difficult to imagine a mechanism that could do a worse job of straight thinking, and yet give the illusion of doing a first-class job. This article presents an instructional format to promote increased rationality of thinking as well as greater cognitive flexibility and cognitive self-regulation.
