Reproductive and infertility care in times of public health crises: an Ethics Committee opinion.

Public health crises often require a framework shift in which patient autonomy is balanced with the need to safeguard the health of the community. During such crises, physicians should ensure that reproductive care is not unfairly curtailed. Furthermore, the safe inclusion of both individuals wishing to reproduce and pregnant individuals should be a priority such that relevant data can be generated to aid patients in making decisions regarding their fertility.
