Abstract

With the increasing emission of carbon dioxide (CO ), the conversion and utilization of CO have become a topic of increasing concern. Electrochemical CO reduction reaction (CO RR) is an attractive and sustainable approach for solving energy and environmental problems. Design of efficient catalysts is crucial for achieving highly efficient CO RR. Different methods to prepare catalysts have been reported and used. Among them, electrodeposition is one of the common approaches, which has some obvious advantages, such as requiring simple equipment, environmentally benign. Especially, it can direct deposit catalysts on different substrates to prepare electrodes for CO RR. In this review, we discuss recent advances in design and preparation of the catalysts by electrodeposition and their applications in CO RR. Furthermore, the perspective of this promising area is also discussed.

随着二氧化碳(CO₂)排放量的不断增加,CO₂的转化与利用已成为日益受到关注的话题。电化学CO₂还原反应(CO₂RR)是解决能源和环境问题的一种有吸引力且可持续的方法。设计高效催化剂对于实现高效CO₂RR至关重要。已经报道并使用了不同的催化剂制备方法。其中,电沉积是常见的方法之一,它具有一些明显的优点,如所需设备简单、环境友好。特别是,它可以将催化剂直接沉积在不同的基底上,制备用于CO₂RR的电极。在这篇综述中,我们讨论了通过电沉积设计和制备催化剂的最新进展及其在CO₂RR中的应用。此外,还讨论了这一有前景领域的展望。
