Anaphylactic reaction to corticosteroids is an uncommon occurrence. Described is such a reaction resulting in cardiopulmonary collapse in a 66-year-old asthmatic treated with intravenous methylprednisolone. Awareness of this entity will allow for prompt and successful therapy.
