The lower critical solution temperature (LCST) phase separation behaviors of thermosensitive poly(-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) aqueous solutions were investigated by power-compensation differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The entropic effect and hence the change of swelling state of PNIPAM polymer coils in homogeneous concentrated aqueous solutions with varied solution composition was elucidated by the isothermal enthalpy demixing recovery behaviors in distinct concentration regions.
采用功率补偿差示扫描量热法(DSC)研究了热敏性聚(N-异丙基丙烯酰胺)(PNIPAM)水溶液的低临界溶液温度(LCST)相分离行为。通过不同浓度区域的等温焓解混恢复行为,阐明了熵效应以及因此在不同溶液组成的均相浓水溶液中PNIPAM聚合物线圈溶胀状态的变化。
