[Calcification of the hip (circumscribed myositis ossificans of the tendon of the anterior rectus femoris)].

For a young boy, without antecedent, the discovery of a calcification from the upper side of the hip is reported to an injury with extension of the thigh, six months before. The radiologic characteristics of the picture bring to the diagnostic of myositis circumscripta of the anterior muscle, which is confirmed by biopsy.
