()-1,1'-Bi(2-naphthol) was reacted with 1,4-phenylene diisocyanate leading to a mixture of linear polyurethane and cyclic compounds including a cyclic dimer and a cyclic trimer. The structure of the cyclic dimer was elucidated by X-ray crystal structure analysis. The polymer was proposed to possess a rather stiff, π-stacked, 2/1-helical conformation on the basis of NMR, CD, and UV spectra and molecular dynamics simulations. The conformation was stable in the range of temperature of 0-60 °C.
(-)-1,1'-联(2-萘酚)与1,4-亚苯基二异氰酸酯反应,生成线性聚氨酯和环状化合物的混合物,其中包括环状二聚体和环状三聚体。通过X射线晶体结构分析阐明了环状二聚体的结构。基于核磁共振、圆二色光谱和紫外光谱以及分子动力学模拟,推测该聚合物具有相当刚性的、π堆积的2/1-螺旋构象。该构象在0-60°C的温度范围内稳定。
