To compare the acute toxic responses of weanling and adult rats to dibromochloropropane (DBCP), male 4- and 9-week-old rats were given subcutaneously 250 mg/kg DBCP. As compared to 4-week-old rats, 9-week-old rats showed higher mortality, more progressive weight loss and severer tissue injuries in the testis, kidney, intestine and lymphoid organs. These results indicated that weanling rats were less susceptible to DBCP toxicity.
为比较断乳期和成年大鼠对二溴氯丙烷（DBCP）的急性毒性反应，对4周龄和9周龄雄性大鼠皮下注射250mg/kg DBCP。与4周龄大鼠相比，9周龄大鼠死亡率更高，体重进行性下降更明显，睾丸、肾脏、肠道和淋巴器官的组织损伤更严重。这些结果表明，断乳期大鼠对DBCP毒性的敏感性较低。
