An analysis of results of bougienage of patients with scarry stenosis of the esophagus has shown the importance of an individual approach to selection of methods of treatment. The effectiveness of bougienage mainly depends on its early beginning. The use of bougienage along a string and endoscopic dilatation enabled the conservative treatment to be used also in complicated cases of scarry stenosis of the esophagus. The absence of effect of bougienage is considered to be an indication to surgery.
对食管瘢痕性狭窄患者进行探条扩张术的结果分析表明，个体化选择治疗方法具有重要意义。探条扩张术的有效性主要取决于其开始时间是否早。沿导丝进行探条扩张术及内镜下扩张术使得在食管瘢痕性狭窄的复杂病例中也能够采用保守治疗。探条扩张术无效被认为是手术指征。
