[Testing of visual function by the evoked potential method before and after surgical treatment of optico-chiasmal arachnoiditis].

Dynamics of changes of visual evoked potentials recorded in patients with optico-chiasmatic arachnoiditis in response to a flash of light were revealed during restoration of visual function in the postoperative period. In improvement of visual functions no changes were found of evoked potentials recorded in a chess pattern in the immediate postoperative period.
