The Georgia Department of Public Health-East Central District and its local partners implemented an open, drive-through point of distribution site to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible populations. The site was in Augusta, Georgia, from mid-December 2020 through mid-May 2021. The target population for this intervention was individuals eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine to prevent and slow transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection.
