Abstract

Woake's syndrome was described for the first time in the European literature in 1885 and features necrotic ethmoiditis, nose broadening due to polyps in early childhood, frontal sinus aplasia, bronchiectasis and production of highly viscous mucus (dyscrinia). A case is reported and the literature is reviewed.
