Recent prospective molecular tumor-profiling studies in pediatric cancer patients across a variety of different healthcare systems have highlighted both the feasibility and clinical utility of this approach. The current study by Church and colleagues in Nature Medicine has further substantiated this and laid the groundwork for a systematic collaborative approach to pediatric precision oncology in the US.
