Abstract

• We explored TDP-43 burden and hippocampal surface deformation. • TDP-43 was uniquely associated with inward deformation in the hippocampus. • Deformation patterns account for co-existing disease showing TDP-43′s unique effect. • Deformation was significantly correlated with cognition scores.
