Abstract

With the rapid development of gene therapy technology and the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics have attracted more and more attention, and the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency authorization. To improve the delivery efficiency of mRNA and , researchers have developed a variety of mRNA carriers and explored different administration routes. This review will systematically introduce the types of mRNA vectors, routes of administration, storage methods, safety of mRNA therapeutics, and the type of diseases that mRNA drugs are applied for. Finally, some suggestions are supplied on the development direction of mRNA therapeutic agents in the future.

随着基因治疗技术的迅速发展以及2019年冠状病毒病(COVID-19)的爆发,信使核糖核酸(mRNA)疗法越来越受到关注,COVID-19 mRNA疫苗已获得美国食品药品监督管理局(FDA)的紧急使用授权。为了提高mRNA的递送效率,研究人员开发了多种mRNA载体并探索了不同的给药途径。本文将系统介绍mRNA载体的类型、给药途径、储存方法、mRNA疗法的安全性以及mRNA药物所应用的疾病类型。最后,对未来mRNA治疗药物的发展方向提出了一些建议。
