[Argon laser therapy in dermatology].

Argon laser light may successfully be applied in the treatment of superficially located vascular and non-vascular dermatologic changes, respectively. On account of its optical properties, it is especially suitable for the therapy of vascular lesions, particularly port-wine stains. This kind of laser radiation can be performed quite exactly and allows successful treatment of skin lesions also in critical localizations. We present first experiences with good functional and cosmetical results.
