Abstract

In the title compound, CHNO, the 1,4-di-hydro-pyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation, with the imidazole substituent in an axial orientation [dihedral angle between ring planes = 82.9 (6)°]. In the crystal structure, pairs of N-H⋯O and N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds with graph-set notation (14) connect the mol-ecules into chains running along the -axis direction.
