The complete mol-ecule of the title compound, CHClNO, is generated by a crystallographic centre of symmetry. In the crystal, N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into [010] chains featuring (10) loops. The chains are cross-linked by short Cl⋯N contacts [3.224 (2) Å].
