Abstract

Patients with gastrointestinal cancer often suffer from malnutrition during tumor progression. Malnutrition is associated with postoperative complications and decreased quality of life. Supporting cancer patients with proper nutrition is vital for improving their prognoses. Google scholar and PubMed database searches were performed. Selection criteria included gastrointestinal cancer, surgery, ω - 3 fatty acids, randomized clinical trials from 2007 to August 2022. Nutritional therapy includes nutritional counseling, enteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition, and oral nutritional supplements. Immune nutrients like glutamine and ω-3 fatty acid have been demonstrated with benefits in reducing inflammatory responses and postoperative complications, regulating immune function and improving prognosis.

胃肠道癌症患者在肿瘤进展过程中常伴有营养不良。营养不良与术后并发症及生活质量下降有关。为癌症患者提供适当的营养支持对改善其预后至关重要。我们进行了谷歌学术和PubMed数据库检索。选择标准包括胃肠道癌症、手术、ω-3脂肪酸、2007年至2022年8月的随机临床试验。营养治疗包括营养咨询、肠内营养、肠外营养和口服营养补充剂。已证实谷氨酰胺和ω-3脂肪酸等免疫营养素在减轻炎症反应和术后并发症、调节免疫功能及改善预后方面具有益处。
