Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW
In recent years, the therapy of breast carcinoma has evolved at a rapid pace. Therapies from metastasis are pushing into the (neo)adjuvant treatment of breast carcinoma at ever shorter intervals.
RECENT FINDINGS
Biomarker-based therapeutic approaches became more and more en vogue to guide (neo)adjuvant endocrine therapy and chemotherapy.
SUMMARY
This article reviews recent data developments in early breast cancer (EBC) and current recommendations in diagnosis and therapy.
