Abstract

In this study, the environmental impacts of the production and field application of synthetic resin formwork were quantitatively compared to the Euro form. The noise test results showed an average of 107.3 dB (A) for the Euro form and 99.7 dB (A) for the synthetic resin formwork. Additionally, when the number of uses was considered, the CO emissions from the synthetic resin formwork were approximately 32% lower than the Euro form. Based on these results, it is expected that the use of synthetic resin formwork will reduce material production by half and reduce CO emissions compared to channel formwork.
