Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the major cause of disability-adjusted life years (DALY) and death globally. The most common internal modification of mRNA is N-adenosylate methylation (mA). Recently, a growing number of studies have been devoted to researching cardiac remodeling mechanisms, especially mA RNA methylation, revealing a connection between mA and cardiovascular diseases. This review summarized the current understanding regarding mA and elucidated the dynamic modifications of writers, erasers, and readers. Furthermore, we highlighted mA RNA methylation related to cardiac remodeling and summarized its potential mechanisms. Finally, we discussed the potential of mA RNA methylation in the treatment of cardiac remodeling.
