Abstract

The exchange of oxygen during NADP+ photoreduction by isolated pea chloroplasts was studied. It was found that NADP+ oxidation is accompanied by oxygen photoreduction preceeding at a high rate. A possibility for calculation of the ration between the pseudocyclic electron transport and the total electron transport based on oxygen exchange in the presence of NaN3 and catalase, was established. It was found that the pseudocyclic transport can make up to 30% or more of total electron transport.

对分离的豌豆叶绿体在NADP⁺光还原过程中的氧气交换进行了研究。发现NADP⁺氧化伴随着高速进行的氧气光还原。基于NaN₃和过氧化氢酶存在下的氧气交换,建立了计算假循环电子传递与总电子传递之间比率的可能性。发现假循环传递可占总电子传递的30%或更多。
