INTRODUCTION
An isolated elevation of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) is a diagnostic issue. Macro-aspartate aminotransferase (macro-AST) corresponds to the formation of complexes between AST and immunoglobulins.
CASE REPORT
We report the case of a patient with macro-AST identified several years before the onset of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). A 6-year retrospective analysis in our laboratory identified only one case out of 42 540 adult patients.
CONCLUSION
The objective of this work is to increase awareness of this benign disorder among clinicians and biologists, as well as to aid in prescribing only the required tests.
引言
孤立性天冬氨酸氨基转移酶（AST）升高是一个诊断问题。巨天冬氨酸氨基转移酶（macro-AST）是指AST与免疫球蛋白之间形成复合物。
病例报告
我们报告了1例在炎症性肠病（IBD）发病前数年就已确诊巨AST的患者。我们实验室进行的一项为期6年的回顾性分析显示，在42540例成年患者中仅发现1例。
结论
这项工作的目的是提高临床医生和生物学家对这种良性疾病的认识，并有助于仅开具必要的检查。
