Herein, we report a base-mediated, highly -selective -arylation process of phenols and cyclic diaryliodonium salts without usage of transition metals. This novel and practical method was proved to be useful for the synthesis of iodine-containing -functionalized biaryl ethers in a broad functional group tolerance and environmentally friendly manner. Diversity-oriented transformations of the products were carried out to give various valuable functionalized biaryls. Preliminary mechanistic studies support the proposed aryne generation mechanism.
在此,我们报告了一种无需使用过渡金属的基于碱的酚和环状二芳基碘鎓盐的高选择性芳基化反应。这种新颖实用的方法被证明可用于在广泛的官能团容忍度和环保的方式下合成含碘官能化的联苯醚。对产物进行了多样化导向的转化,得到了各种有价值的功能化联苯。初步的机理研究支持所提出的芳基炔生成机理。
