Selective coronary angiography with ionic contrast agents produces delayed myocardial repolarization with prolongation of the QTc interval on EKG. Torsade de Pointes, an unusual polymorphic ventricular tachycardia, has been causally linked to delayed myocardial repolarization. We present a case of Torsade de Pointes resulting from selective right coronary arteriography.
