This study examines the role of a sense of belonging in the relationship between the of psychological empowerment (PE) and employees' knowledge-sharing intention (KSI). The research finding based on a survey sample of 422 full-time employees collected in South Korea reports that a sense of belonging is a key mediator that translates the effect of an employee's perceived on the work environment into their KSI. The moderated mediation model shows that the mediating effect of a sense of belonging is more significant when employees perceive that organizational support is high. This study advances the literature on employee motivation and knowledge sharing by offering insights into the role played by employees' sense of control and influence (i.e., ) in developing social connections, which in turn influence their intention to share knowledge.
