Replantation of autologous cryopreserved parathyroid tissue is a procedure well established in surgery of hyperparathyroidism. It has proved to be a good approach to successful surgical treatment of hypocalcaemia in the wake of parathyroid operations. Cryopreservation of parathyroid tissue is indicated in cases of subtotal parathyroidectomy, total parathyroidectomy with autotransplantation of fresh tissue, re-operation for persistent or recurrent hyperparathyroidism, and surgery for hyperparathyroidism following thyroidectomy.
自体冷冻保存甲状旁腺组织再植术是甲状旁腺功能亢进症手术中一项成熟的手术。事实证明，它是甲状旁腺手术后成功治疗低钙血症的良好方法。甲状旁腺组织冷冻保存适用于甲状旁腺次全切除术、新鲜组织自体移植的甲状旁腺全切除术、持续性或复发性甲状旁腺功能亢进症的再次手术以及甲状腺切除术后甲状旁腺功能亢进症的手术。
