In the operative treatment of fractures there are special principles for plating by support. Osteosynthesis is indicated for comminnuted fractures and bone defects in the metaphysis. Plating for distance also is established for fractures and pseudarthroses with defects in the diaphysis. This method is especially recommended for fractures of the head of the tibia and for reconstructing the pilon tibial.
在骨折的手术治疗中，存在特殊的支撑钢板固定原则。接骨术适用于干骺端的粉碎性骨折和骨缺损。对于骨干有缺损的骨折和假关节，也采用钢板固定以保持距离。这种方法特别适用于胫骨头部骨折以及重建胫距关节。
