Abstract
An ion exchange method is described for the determination of lithium ions in urine. The lithium ion is separated from interfering substances on a strong cation exchange resin by elution with hydrochloric acid, 0.5 mol/l. The concentration of lithium in the eluate is determined by flame photometry.
