Abstract

Peroxygenase from catalyses the selective hydroxylation of tertiary C-H bonds, whereby tertiary alcohols, diols, ketols, ., were obtained in good to high regioselectivity and turnover numbers. This method can also be expanded for late-stage functionalization of drug molecules, which represents a streamlined synthetic method to give access to useful compounds.
