The aim of this study was to compare the effects of online functional exercises and posture exercises on lower limb functions, posture, and physical activity in office workers working at home and in office alternately during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Forty individuals were included in the study and were randomized into two groups: group I (functional exercise group, 20 participants) and group II (posture exercise group, 20 participants). The exercises programs were performed online for 2 days/in a week/8 wk. Lower limb functions, posture, and physical activity were evaluated before and after the exercise program.
Significant improvement was obtained in lower limb functions (muscular endurance, balance, and functional capacity), posture, and physical activity in group I, while significant improvement was obtained in balance and functional capacity in group II after treatment. The change in scores of lower limb functions, posture, and physical activity after treatment was statistically superior in group I compared with group II ( P < 0.05).
It was found that both online exercise programs provided effective results in office workers working at home and in office alternately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the functional exercise program had superior effects on lower limb functions, posture, and physical activity compared with the posture exercise program.
本研究旨在比较在 COVID-19 大流行期间,在家和在办公室交替工作的上班族进行在线功能锻炼和姿势锻炼对下肢功能、姿势和身体活动的影响。
共有 40 人纳入本研究,并随机分为两组:组 I(功能锻炼组,20 名参与者)和组 II(姿势锻炼组,20 名参与者)。锻炼计划在线进行,每周 2 天,共 8 周。在锻炼计划前后评估下肢功能、姿势和身体活动。
组 I 的下肢功能(肌肉耐力、平衡和功能能力)、姿势和身体活动均有显著改善,而组 II 的平衡和功能能力在治疗后有显著改善。治疗后下肢功能、姿势和身体活动评分的变化在组 I 中明显优于组 II(P<0.05)。
由于 COVID-19 大流行,两种在线锻炼方案均对在家和在办公室交替工作的上班族有效,但功能锻炼方案在下肢功能、姿势和身体活动方面的效果优于姿势锻炼方案。
