Determination of the relationship between self-care agency and sleepiness in chronic hemodialysis patients.

OBJECTIVE
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between self-care agency and sleepiness in chronic hemodialysis patients.
METHODS
The study was conducted with 75 patients with chronic renal failure in the hemodialysis unit of a training and research hospital in our country. In the descriptive study, the data were collected through a face-to-face questionnaire. The IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 program was used to evaluate the data.
RESULTS
It was determined that there was no significant relationship between self-care agency and sleepiness total scores in chronic hemodialysis patients (p>0.05) and a significant relationship between sleepiness and drug use compliance and mental status in female patients and between diet compliance and sleepiness in patients younger than 52 years of age (p<0.05).
CONCLUSION
As a result, it was observed that there was no relationship between self-care agency and sleepiness in chronic hemodialysis patients. We think that working with a larger sample group can lead to clearer results.
目的
本研究旨在确定自我护理能力与慢性血液透析患者嗜睡之间的关系。
方法
本研究在我国一所培训和研究医院的血液透析病房对 75 例慢性肾衰竭患者进行了研究。在描述性研究中，通过面对面的问卷收集数据。采用 IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 程序对数据进行评估。
结果
在慢性血液透析患者中，自我护理能力与嗜睡总分之间无显著关系（p＞0.05），但在女性患者中，嗜睡与药物使用依从性和精神状态之间，以及在年龄小于 52 岁的患者中，饮食依从性与嗜睡之间存在显著关系（p＜0.05）。
结论
因此，我们观察到慢性血液透析患者的自我护理能力与嗜睡之间没有关系。我们认为，与更大的样本组合作可以得出更清晰的结果。
