Urodynamic investigation allows a classification and differential diagnosis of disorders of the lower urinary tract. The number of parameters registered is fixed by patient selection and then economical feasibility of the urodynamic unit. Differentiating stress urinary incontinence and urge incontinence or neurogenic disorders, which is of clinical importance, small two-channel recorders showed to be a competitive screening-method.
