[Cytologic findings in ectopia of the decidua (deciduosis) of the portio vaginalis uteri].

We report on the rare occurrence of decidual ectopy based on a own case. The diagnostic possibilities of colposcopy and particularly of cytology are discussed to avoid unnecessary excisions out of the cervix in pregnancy.
