[Theoretical study of the relation of the RBE of fast neutrons to dose for normal human skin and connective tissue].

The dependence of the relative biological effectiveness (RBE) of fast neutrons upon radiation dose was given a mathematical description. The formula obtained permitted to make calculations which, as was shown by comparison, were in a good agreement with the known experimental dependences of the RBE upon dose. The proposed formula may be applied in planning neutron therapy and in determining the RBE dependence upon radiation dose for any tissue with the known radiobiological parameters.
