A report is given on the recurrent haemorrhage of a cerebral arterial aneurysm occurring three days after the establishment of an extra-intracranial microanastomosis by means of a venous transplant. The carotid ligature should be carried out in a second session. The short time interval after the haemorrhage and also the larger flow via the venous bypass is discussed as a possible cause.
