Prophylactic fibroscopic examination of the upper respiratory tract was carried out in 1,201 patients, 1,038 of them being simultaneously subjected to fiber esophagogastroduodenoscopy and 163--to fiber bronchoscopy. Specimens for cytomorphologic examination were taken from 393 cases. In 18.2%, various pathology of the upper respiratory tract was found, including inflammation in 9.7%. The group at high risk for cancer included 2.9% of examinees. Malignancies were detected in 0.08%.
对1201例患者进行了上呼吸道预防性纤维镜检查，其中1038例同时接受了纤维食管胃十二指肠镜检查，163例接受了纤维支气管镜检查。对393例患者进行了细胞形态学检查标本采集。发现18.2%的患者存在上呼吸道各种病变，其中9.7%为炎症。癌症高危组占受检者的2.9%。恶性肿瘤检出率为0.08%。
