In the analysis of sixty five (65) cardiotocographic patterns performed at least half an hour before delivery of the child, the authors have used Kuvacić's CTG score in the second stage of labour as well as Hammacher's CTG score. The cardiotocographic patterns were evaluated on the basis of Kuvacić's CTG score for the second stage of labour and the fetal blood acid-base condition was observed. The authors obtained some statistically important correlation coefficients between CTG score and the values of the pH, pCO2 and BE in the blood of fetal umbilical artery and between CTG score and Apgar score after one and five minutes. Out of obtained results the authors have concluded that Kuvacić's CTG score for the second stage of labour is as precise as Hammacher's score, but is more simple.
