Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual male (the common green furrow bee; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Halictidae). The genome sequence is 547 megabases in span. Over half of the assembly (55.79%) is scaffolded into 12 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome was also assembled, and is 16.8 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 11,460 protein coding genes.
