This article, drawing from an interview with Dr Marilyn Chow, a recognized "Living Legend" by the American Academy of Nursing (AAN), outlines a transformative approach for nurse leaders. Marilyn emphasizes the significance of listening to staff, patients, and communities, taking appreciative and incremental steps toward innovation, and fostering an environment where risks are encouraged and voices are amplified.
