Abstract

Measurement of independent isomeric yield ratios (IR) of Sb, Te, I, Xe and Cs have been carried out for the first time in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of Pu by using an off-line gamma-ray spectrometric technique. The average neutron energy () of the epi-cadmium reactor neutron spectrum is 1.9 MeV. From the IR values, root mean square fragment angular momenta (J) were deduced by using spin dependent statistical model analysis. Effect of nuclear structure on J values was examined. The present data in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of Pu were compared with the similar data in the thermal neutron induced fission of Pu to examine the role of excitation energy on J values.

首次采用离线伽马射线能谱技术,对钚在超镉中子诱发裂变中锑、碲、碘、氙和铯的独立同分异构体产额比(IR)进行了测量。超镉反应堆中子能谱的平均中子能量()为1.9兆电子伏。根据IR值,通过自旋相关统计模型分析推导了均方根碎片角动量(J)。研究了核结构对J值的影响。将钚在超镉中子诱发裂变中的现有数据与钚在热中子诱发裂变中的类似数据进行比较,以研究激发能对J值的作用。
