The main causes of eyebrow alopecia are repeated eyebrow plucking, reduced density due to age, and post-traumatic alopecia. Follicular transplantation is a simple surgical technique that corrects most cases of eyebrow alopecia. This involves implanting hair follicles, taken from the scalp or, more rarely, from a hairy region of the body, into the bare or sparse area of the eyebrow.
