Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female (the Beautiful China-mark moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Crambidae). The genome sequence is 635.8 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.36 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 20,031 protein coding genes.
